Joint actions towards responsible digital wage payments in Cambodia’s garment industry

The benefits of digital wage payments, reinforced by the COVID-19 pandemic and an improving financial infrastructure, have encouraged garment factories in Cambodia to move from cash to digital. Yet, many other factories still need to make the switch. In this video, representatives from the employers’ association, trade union, factories, government and the ILO shared their views on how the transition contributes to promote efficiency, time saving, well-being of workers and compliance in the global supply chain.
